Taking Centre Stage at the Mt Eliza Solo Competition

The Mt Eliza Solo Competition is the first competition in the Eastern metropolitan region and competitors will take centre stage at the Langwarrin Performing Arts Centre, Rivergum Performing Arts Centre and Cranbourne Community Theatre from the 10 – 13 March.

Celebrating over 35 years of competitions, the Mt Eliza Solo Competition has significantly grown from the initial 200 competitors to over 740 entrants in 2017.

Now proudly run by Leawarra Calisthenic Club, competition convenor Mary Anne Crawford says, “We are looking forward to making 2017 a great year at the Mt Eliza Solo Competition. We have some wonderful products available from Madmia Socks, Pink Lemon Dancewear, C’est Moi and Bunhead Bowtique at the Rivergum Performing Arts Centre over the weekend. A big thank you must go to all the volunteers who help organise this wonderful opportunity for our competitors to perform. We wish everyone good luck and cannot wait to see you all light up the stage”

Please note venues do not have eftpos facilities.

Canteen Facilities:
Langwarrin – Cold food, drinks, BBQ
Cranbourne – Full Canteen, hot and cold food, drinks
Rivergum – Full Canteen, hot and cold food, drinks

Raffle: Each venue will have a raffle valued at over $100 which includes a prize from Madmia Socks, Pink Lemon Dancewear, C’est Moi and Bunhead Bowtique. Tickets are $1 each and the raffle will be drawn at the close of competition on Sunday. Winners will be notified via phone if they are not in attendance and listed on the Mt Eliza Solo Competition Facebook page.

Calisthenics Victoria President, Angela Wijeratne says, “We are incredibly excited to continue with the 2017 Solo and Duo Competition Season at Mt Eliza.
