The 2016 Melbourne Metropolitan Team Competitions finish this weekend with the Westernport Competitions.

Running for over 30 years, the Westernport Calisthenics Competition starts today and runs until 16 October at the Langwarrin Performing Arts Centre (LPAC), Elizabeth Murdoch College, Warrandyte Road, Langwarrin.

Competition Convenor, June Pearson, says “we are known for being a very friendly competition. Our canteen in renowned for our fabulous cakes and we offer a large variety of food. We welcome and look forward to all participants, coaches and their families being part of our competition.”

Hosted and run by Cranbourne Calisthenics College, the Westernport Competition provides an opportunity for Tinies teams from Divisions 3 to 10 to compete as well as all other age groups, excluding Masters, from Divisions 8 to 10. A wonderful group of volunteers from the Cranbourne Calisthenics College work tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of the competition.

Calisthenics Victorian CEO, Matthew Brown says, “We are excited for teams to take to the stage at the Westernport Calisthenics Competition as the last Metropolitan Competition for 2016. Thank you to the hardworking committee who have worked to ensure this competition will be memorable for all participants and coaches.”
